<p>Welcome to your Dedicate Day 12 practice!</p><p><br></p><p>Today's session is what it's all about.</p><p><br></p><p>On Day 12 we explore the power behind curating your own experience on the mat.</p><p><br></p><p>Strengthen the upper body, focus on hip release as well as abdominal and low belly tone.</p><p><br></p><p>Continue to release stress and tension in the shoulders and use your breath to increase your awareness, shift stagnant energy and welcome empowerment.</p><p><br></p><p>Stretch, soothe and continue to ride the wave - mindfully.</p><p><br></p><p>It's your practice to curate. Enjoy!</p><p><br></p><p>This 20 minute session will feel incredible after Day 10 and 11.</p>

<p>I chose this practice (it chose me?) for a quiet celebration of my 1,000 day of daily practice with Adriene and this community. The actual mark was a couple days ago, which I spent in a surgery waiting room. I found a meditation practice that morning, which reminded me that I can always find what I need here. Yesterday, I did a quick practice in my son’s apartment while he slept. He is all good and recovering well. </p><p></p><p>So now I’m in an Airbnb for my celebration. Yoga and Adriene and Benji and team have gotten my through a lot these last few years. So, so thankful. 🙏</p>

I have been practicing with YWA for 3 years and it's been a challenging time in my life. And I'm doing the work. I have done many of these practices multiple times and I find deeper and deeper layers as I do so. Today I could feel for the first time the truth in Adriene's words about our happiness being our own responsibility. I'm so grateful for this platform, for Adriene and her wisdom (and silliness), for all the other folks out there doing their own journeys and for the folks who make FWFG come to life. Namaste. Feeling it today.

<p>Another beautiful practice. Love warming-up the spine in cat-cow. I have a much deeper experience with it after practicing Marnie’s new session Back Bend Practice. The practice keeps elevating my ability to ease into being, with what is! That’s such a glorious way to start the day. Or at whatever time. I did the King Pigeon and then supine figure 4…both were very good! I love those knee circles while in downward facing dog! Again, thanks Marnie! </p><p>I have agency over how I experience my own life. And that’s such an empowering feeling! And my mat is my partner. To practice life on the mat through mindful movements, allowing my breath to move me and Find What Feels Good. Acts of kindness, love and compassion towards myself…and then, I can spread those same notions off the mat too. Trust my gut. I am whole. The answers lie within. My practice has been an essential ritual for me to ease into being and co-existing with what’s happening in each present moment. Simplifying the complexities of life. Lovely way to be!
