<p>This is a cautionary tale for others out there doing this practice. Yesterday I injured my knee doing the very last balance posture of this video. My ankle was flexed to protect the knee, but as I lowered my knee down there was a loud popping sound that caused me to immediately stop. The knee has gotten much worse since this happened so currently resting it and icing but worried I tore something inside my knee. I have done this move before and there was no pain prior to this happening. I just want to share to encourage everyone to take this very slow and conservatively because the worst can happen. It's definitely putting the flexibility of your knee and hip to the test. Unfortunately, my hip was ready but my knee was not. All the best to everyone!</p>

I certainly did my limited versions of the bslance. Found where I could go, pushed it a tiny bit then softened back. I have a disability so it’s about making sure im comfortable and mildly challenged. Hope to come

<p>Laughed quite a bit at myself while balancing but I did manage to just cross my knee and bend slightly. The cues to remember to breathe are well placed. Loved the warrior poses. Fun practice at the start of a busy day. Thank you Adriene!πŸ™πŸ’•</p>

I stopped midway through this session earlier this morning. I could not stay present. I opted to sit to meditate. I respect my practice, I do it when I am fully able to surrender - to be present, avoid injuries and reap the benefits! πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ
