Think heart space, tender, with everything going on in our world. Think counterbalance, of all time spent at the desk or simply collapsed in understandable unawareness. This session is both a workout for the body and the soul, a practice of support and strengthening. With plenty of stretch too. Join me for this blend of therapeutic yoga and traditional hatha yoga flow with a focus on the upper body and chest..
This practice came at a good time. Sometimes you don’t know what you need until you do it. I found out yesterday that my cousin is in the MICU in a serious condition and the prognosis doesn’t look good. I’ve been stressed and worried, but know that yoga is a necessary routine that always helps me feel better. I’ll be going to see her today with my sister & husband. We’re all hoping for the best. Thank you, Adriene + sweet sweet Benji. Namaste all 🙏💖🧘🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️🫶

Riding emotional roller coasters. On the low swing currently. I was so very close to skipping today but my husband said to me, "You know, the hardest part is showing up." Well, of course he's right! Not to solicit sympathy, but I definitely arrived in tears but by the end felt much more centered. Grateful for the space to be.

Pro Yoga Tip: Have a partner who knows Adriene's lingo to help you get to the mat.

Not the easiest when you have ”bad” knees, felt a bit weary at some poses, so be forewarned if you have knee problems. A nice and fresh practice otherwise, more strengthening and stretching than relaxing. Slow and deep. /Molly T

Great practice but a question for anyone who has knees the go in. I have trouble with “feet rogether, really together” and never know if I should put one knee slightly in front or smash my knees together and try to have me feet together. Any suggestions?

That was spicier than expected! 🔥

But man, does my heart feel lighter now. This one’s going straight to the favorites.

During the pose where you clasp your hands behind your back and bend forward I realized my shoulders were super tight and it was hard to keep my hands a couple inches off my back when I bend forward.

So my request would be a video that covers how to make the shoulders more flexible so the hands behind the back pose becomes easier.

Enjoyed this new practice but boy was I wobbly today. Then I remembered “if you fall, we’ll catch you”, and found my rhythm. The rolling floor poses are harder I think if you have big boobs 😉

Ooh that felt good! A little wobbly to start but as I relaxed I could feel everything opening up, really needed this practice today with so much tightness in my neck, shoulders & chest. Perfect ❤️🙏

Not my audible “NO!” After the side planks and Adrienne saying you could take a Chataranga into up dog 😂

Loved coming back to this one again. Gentle but challenging. Lovely for opening the chest and shoulders.

Swapped this one from tomorrow - so that I can do the morning practice in the morning. This is one of my favourites. High lunge still a challenge but that mermaid pose 🥰. 22 Sept ‘24
