Thank you Kris for this practice!

I have to say, first I was very irritated by the loud music parallel to the voiceover but then I kinda got used to it.

I practiced techniques like this with wim hoff before and I’m so glad, I knew what I was getting myself into. I’m sensitive and maybe some others who try this as well. Just want to say a soft warning: this form of breathing can be very intense. For me it provokes a lot of tingling and a feeling like dizziness often. If you never tried it maybe try it lying down first and then when you know what’s happening, sitting up. Also I get really cold doing the breath, so I cover myself in a blanket. The holds work better for me when I don’t keep all the air in my lungs but just let go of the last breath in and then start the hold.

If anybody has trouble holding the breath or just want to try it like that way, thought I mentioned it.

Looking forward for more practices like that! 💓

*pls also read Kris’s responds and tips in the comments - which will help 🙂

I see some people here saying they didn't love the music so I just wanted to chime in and say that I actually really enjoyed it. However, it did inspire a wonderful little dance session during the third round of breathing that perhaps wasn't exactly what I was "supposed" to be doing. But it made me feel damn good so it was right for me! I also loved Kris's soothing voice, cues, and messages. I look forward to more practices with Kris.

I really liked the breathwork Kris.

The music was very loud and disturbing. Is it possible to turn it down because it can be difficult to hear you over the music.

What is the purpose of the music?

At some point it felt like being in an aerobics class with the music forcing you to breathe.

I wish you would make a video without music as well, because I spent a lot of energy trying to ignore the music. I feel very calm afterwards 🌿

Dear Kris! This went straight to my favorites and I’m really curious to try to practice this video frequently. But haha, it was intense. You “tricked” me with the trees, sun and calm voice in the start, and half way through the first cycle I was like “omg, am I supposed to be doing this for 20 minutes?!”. The same as some of Adrienes videos where you think it will be calm and relaxing and then she surprises us with 20 minutes of abs work out 😂 However, it’s a good suprise all in all, and I feel awesome afterwards. The music really helped to keep the pace.

I have read James Nestor’s book “Breath” (guessing you have read it as well and I recommend everyone here to read it) and therefore I know how magical and important breath work is, and how healthy it is to practice retaining breath. However, I have found it hard to incorporate good breath work practice into my life. But now, with Kris in the team, I’m really going to step it up! Looking forward to more videos from you. Night time video sounds awesome, but also shorter ones so the threshold for putting it on in a break at work is lower.

While I was doing the breathing cycle that was so intense (I felt dizzy and my back was tired from sitting) I was multiple times grinning the biggest smile because your support and music kept me going. While retaining the breath, I really appreciated your info to pass through the resistance because all of a sudden a lot of tensions in my hips (a area I really struggle with) gave in and relaxed so much. The tension released while I was retaining breath! So interesting!

Also, your words about compassion for others really hit me. Keep em coming. We need to be reminded of this. It made me cry a little tear and remember to be more patient and compassionate with someone in my life. You are spreading love and compassion through the world in a video, how amazing is that!

I find this style of practice anxiety inducing, especially the fast pace and breath holds... maybe I'll try it again, or just stick to gentler breathwork. 🤍

Wow! That was incredible. Feel clear, energised and ready for the week ahead. Have read my fellow yogis comments about the music. I was initially surprised by it (given there's little music here in FWFG) but found it a really useful tool to breathe to and to keep me motivated. For me, it added a sense of euphoria and escape. Thank you Kris! 🙏ps is there any chance of having a shorter morning class? I love the idea of doing this daily but would struggle to find 20 minutes on top of my yoga.🙏🏻

Thank you – I loved this so much! I've never tried anything like this before, and it was so beautiful and powerful. For me, the music really helped, actually made me feel safe and able to 'surrender' to the process, which is something I struggle with. I would love to learn more about breathwork.

Woah. I guess I really didn't know what breath work could be until this video. It's very hard for me to focus sometimes during breathing meditations, and I confess sometimes I have skipped over pranayama sections of videos in this channel. But this one hit differently. It brought up all sorts of crazy emotions. Just when I felt like I was getting too scared, your voice came in to tell me I was safe and I was able to allow the breath to continue and my fear faded. It was wild. I also think the breath hold for a minute is intimidating to hear, however the previous breath exercise I felt opened a lot of space in my lungs and warmed them up to take in more air than I'm used to so that I was able to do all three holds, and that felt extremely empowering. By the end I felt slightly buzzed, calm and Emboldened. So here I am, a convert to Future breath work. Thanks very much for this addition to the channel! I'll come back to this video again for sure

Thank you! I first watched this on a screen and the music drowned you out so I turned it off. I just completed the meditation on my headphones and it's 90% better🌞. It reminded me of some rebirthing meditations I did in the 90s, which is apropos as I'm currently wanting to evolve and leave some habitual ways of dealing with stress behind. Thank you, Kris. I will definitely schedule this meditation in going forward❤️.
