How you move matters. Today’s central theme is not just designed to guide breath control, but to also roll out the red carpet for you to expand your mind and your relationship to the mantra Find What Feels Good. What is it like to focus not just on the WHAT, but even more on the HOW?

The same way that you have to bring the breath, you have to bring the awareness of how you are doing something. You get to design how many layers, you get to pay attention to the details… or not. You get to decide the flavor.

How you move matters. The art of quality control. Both on and off the mat.

Let me know how it goes for you via the comment section below. I LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

My nana passed away on Friday and I feel like I've been trapped in a heavy cloud. This practice "made it rain" for me physically, mentally and emotionally. As we were knocking on heaven's door I could almost feel my nana laughing as she went to open it :) Thank you Adriene for the wonderful gift you have created for us.

Usually not one to state “i needed this today.” I have practised daily yoga with Adriene for a year now (jan 26), and i come to the mat because i WANT it to be a part of my life. However, I lost a beloved pet (the most handsome horse in the world, Ryan Conner). My heart hurts over his loss, and today I am grateful for yoga with Adriene because I NEEDED it. Thank you and Namaste 💜

Wish I could "like" comments on this feed. About to start this practice and reading a few comments prior to my start always helps! Great support here. 😊

Wonderful as always, listening to Adriene, I am always astonished by the apparent differences in what people find easy or not. I cannot for the life of me get my heels to the floor for example, or step it all the way up to a low launch without lowering a knee and taking a helping hand, but I have absolutely no problem putting my feet together without looking down. I find even the suggestion weird. Bellyflapping is so nice, and I wouldn't dream of finding it embarrassing. It is such a gentle reminder to really embrace diversity in all things and not think we are all alike, capable of the same things.

Another day completed, another day of acknowledging this journey is still worth going forward when it doesn't sync up perfectly to what is being released. I am proud of how I have continued instead of thinking I had to "stop" because my journey was on a different timeline. No matter what, whatever practice I ended up coming to, it is exactly what is needed. Thank you.

Cyd, I totally know what you mean about the breath versus movement pace. I struggled with that also. But I think just the fact that you have thought about it you are halfway there. I found once I started acknowledging the challenge I was able to slowly adjust the pace of my breathing when the pavlce of the movement changed. Really working on Breath of Fire helped me out a lot. Namaste.

I suffer from migraines, but yesterday was the first day this month I got one. I did get on the mat and did this one partly and then worked on other things to find what feels good. At least I made it on the mat and I can say I did it.
