Yoga for when you get… the sickness. Join me in a surrender to rest and recovery, as we softly tap into the healing properties of yoga. I know how hard it can be when the body is fighting illness, and how frustrating it can be when the symptoms linger. This thoughtful, effective and gentle session is for those in the healing process.

Feel better my dear. I am in your corner!

I appreciate this practice deeply. I have found it incredibly hard to get to the mat lately… like for the last almost two years lately… motherhood has changed everything about my life, the way I show up for myself especially. I have the time, if I’m honest, it’s the mental capacity and willingness to sit with self. This is the first 20m flow I’ve done in a month or more, the level of beginner I feel I am at again is frustrating yet equally exciting. I feel I have this unique opportunity to witness my BODY in beginner, with the mind of 5 years of experience and knowledge I’ve gained to guide me. To remind me of where I can and will be again. To KNOW this time I can take it slow & recognize when ego is showing up… when injury likely will take place (ie… being determined to fly in crow entirely too early in my practice with old wrist injuries😅)…mmm I’m so grateful for this community and for what Yoga with Adriene has built. Here’s to (hopefully) returning to daily practice!! Love to all

much appreciated as part of my not-Covid virus recovery. I call it that because it sure acts like Covid, complete with loss of taste and smell, whatever the tests say (negative). Anyway, between this one and Yoga for When You’re Sick, I have had a way to encourage my poor body through the last phase. There’s hope!

I am not ill right now, but I did eat a HUGE dinner and this was perfect for some gentle movement while feeling bloated, ha!! I didn't even want to do yoga today, but I am so grateful that I showed up on the mat. Thank you Adriene + team!

I did this in bed before getting up for the day. Bed is a fine place to do this practice. Delicious when you aren’t feeling well. Be well

Thank you for this. Helped to break the isolation of being sick — and the gentle stretches were yummy. I loved the permission to do or not do the poses.

Well, that was hard. As a fat girl I struggle with some poses. How do I prevent my lower back from hurting because it's not touching the mat?

What I would like to know is how Adriene knew I was going to wake up sick and need this video today.
