Living during a pandemic has shown us how valuable it is to pay attention to our feelings, honor them, and also to learn how to let things go.

However, with the stress of daily life, uncertainty, grief, new systems - it can start to feel difficult, if not impossible, to ride the rollercoaster with grace. We get stuck. Our bodies start to feel the impact, and our minds keep up with the race. As a result of this stress cycle, imbalance occurs and our heightened emotional states can rapidly change, moment to moment, day to day.

This practice is a lesson in being able to recognize your own presence, honor your feelings, and follow grace.

We are not our emotions and our emotions don’t have to always dictate our actions.

Use the tools of yoga to recognize when your emotions are carrying you away.

Wield your breath in order to anchor and navigate the hard stuff.

This session offers teachings that assist you in the process of releasing control and increasing trust. Work to balance the brain and body with healthy discernment as you navigate your emotions and lovingly find your way back to center.

Is there a link for this one on Youtube? I would love to send it to my daughter who is a nurse and really struggling. She does not have this app and I can’t find it on your YouTube channel. Please help if it’s there

Could I ask, in the breath sequence at the end (breathe in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4) shouldn't you hold for 4 after you have breathed out?

This was such a wonderful way to start the morning. So long since I've regularly practiced yoga that I had to modify a couple of positions but it didn't matter to me. I felt all the peace and balance and calm that I've been missing by missing my yoga practices. Thank you for this series.

Also, I posted somewhere else but I don't see the journaling prompts for each day. Can someone help me and tell me how to find those?

Thank you and much love.❤️

Today a year ago I lost my Mum. I was wandering around restless all day and crying from time to time. I wanted to do a meditation to feel closer to my Mama, but I procrastinated and didn’t do it in the end. Then I found this video and it calmed me down and gave me some peace. I don’t feel heavy on my heart anymore. Thank you, Adriene. ❤️

This is really what I needed today. Three days ago we had to euthanize Peyton, our 14 yr old dog. I am breathing through the tears and riding the waves of loss and grief. In my living room/studio, Peyton always came to join me for FWFG yoga. He helped me get through pandemic uncertainty. The day before he died, even though he was dealing with intense pain, and would not eat or drink, he came to yoga, and licked my fingers as I practiced shivasana. Thank you.....
