Yoga for Loneliness is an all levels yoga sequence that will serve anyone who is lonely, or anyone who has ever felt alone.

This hands free, low to the ground practice stays off the knees and opens up the body with the breath, uniting mind and body in a way that serves. You are not alone! Connect to the big picture, nurture your spine, stretch, soothe, and light a little fire in your core. Finish this practice till the end.

Namaste holds so much power, my friends! WE ARE ONE!

Wonder if there’s a way we could organise some times throughout the day to sync up on this one? A poll of times we can let others know we’re practicing in? Extra knowledge of some specific people who are with you.

Adriene Katie Elliott - FWFG Team

Whenever Adrienne says we are practicing with people all over the world, and that we are not alone, i think of the part in Horton Hears a Who....everyone is shouting, “We are here! We are here!” I just wanted to take a minute to tell all of you, I am here! We are here, together. Thank you to everyone in this community.

I feel so lonely and I know from my trauma therapy that all I need right now is get a hug or a smile or compassion from someone in real life. But I can't get that right now (many days/times I can't) and it makes me so sad. This video was nice but the feeling's still there, as I expected. Hug to anyone else who feels deeply lonely and needs a real life hug too x

I switched to this one today since I didn’t have much time and wasn’t ready for a big workout. This was just what I needed. Thank you, Adriene. Namaste all 🙏♥️🙆🏻‍♀️

Hello fellow yogis. This practice really resonated!!! I'm currently studying sociology. At the moment it's social constructivism. The general gist of it is that we are all interconnected in ways that none of us can truly comprehend. As Adrian so rightly points out, like it or not we are all in this together. So we might as well make the world a happier and more peaceful place for all of us to exist. Namaste

Love this session! Repeating often. Hands free is a nice break for arthritic wrists. Although it does definitely guide me to feel more connected… it does more than that….the low to the ground asana practice moves energy through and clears out the clogged gunky emotions and other stuff we feel but can’t always name or quantify. Taking time with this session clears the smudges off my lenses! 😉

I’m a few days later revisiting this one, so not sure if others are practicing with me. Wanted to say hello to all my peeps, sending love. 🩵🩶💛🧡🤎💙❤️🩷💚🤍

I needed this today as I am dealing with living back in Canada for 6 months. It's been so hard leaving all of my friends back in the US as well as having my mom and father-in-law both die already this year. My partner is here with me, but I have no other close friends here to share my pain with. Thank you for this practice today and giving space to my feelings. My tears are healing every time they come forth.

I've been in a season of sadness lately. I know this is temporary, but it's difficult in the moment. This was such a gentle, loving practice. I will add it as a favorite and come back to it whenever I feel a need for connection.

Imagine if we could see how many people are watching a video along with you. I definitely wouldn't feel alone.
