Beautiful before heading into work tonight. While I'm there, I will turn 35 🥳

I am afraid I missed the last few minutes of this practice: as soon as I wrapped up in my blanket, my cat - who can sniff a snuggling opportunity a mile off - arrived, cuddled down on my belly and purred too loudly for me to hear Adriene! But I felt it was in the spirit of the practice :-)

Any recommendations, should i schedule this in for my morning practice or leave it until i finish my work day, working from home? TIA :)

Did I zen out so much that i had some relaxation-induced amnesia or did we only do pigeon on one side? Maybe it was a sneaky way to give us a reaction to be curious and to see how we could find what feels good when our expectations and routine/comfort zone were changed? ?

Okay, I wanted to share with you that in Baddha Konasana during this video, I know this sounds a bit over the top, but I had an extremely "transcendent" experience when we leaned forward. I have done that pose tons of times in my life, and you know, it was always like whatever. Ha. Generally, I'd lean fairly "far" over, feel it in the hips and not much else. But it was something about your cue yesterday to relax the weight of your head and shoulders — it was crazy, suddenly, slowly, my top half completely surrendered forward, slowly, slowly, slowly. I actually paused the video to stay in this pose for as long as I could. And, over time, my forehead was on my big toes. But it was less about the posture, and more about the feeling. It was a wild surrender. Anyway, of course I feel silly sharing online (naturally) but also feel compelled too. Thank you for creating such a beautiful container where I was able to have such a lovely moment! xo.

When Adriene said "imagine a balloon in your belly" I thought she said "imagine the moon in your belly," which really worked because last night was the full moon! I think I'll continue to use that image in the future. :-)

I find many of these practices too short, so combining day 16 and day 17 makes a nice 40 minute practice.

Doing this practice, timed 22:22, on 02/02/2022. Ha! What magic ✨

It was hard getting to the mat today. This was so needed. Felt washed with emotion a couple of times. Wonderful and so grateful for it. Namaste
