Aware that you say "a little goes a long way" -- frequently -- and aware that you probably do not have the time you used to have to devote to preparing/choreographing/filming yoga sessions -- really -- 20 minutes per day of yoga is not enough for any but perhaps a true, and hapless beginner. This was a nice bit of "yoga lite", but I would suggest aiming for 30 minute sessions. Then, those of us who are interested can string 3 of them together for a workout. Sorry you and the team have become so popular and so busy ... it's sort of a blessing and a curse for members and viewers.

Dies anyone know why Adriene calls the movement at the beginning of this practice “knocking on heaven’s door”? My understtanding of the phrase, and how Bob Dylan used it in his famous song, means being close to death. Seems kind of depressing for a yoga practice…

Where, specifically, is the actual clothing manufactured?

So sad. It is less and less easy to follow you.

If you, like me, get nauseous from extended twisting movements, watch out for the first half of this video. Slow down, take breaks. I even subbed in seated twists instead because of nausea. There is a VERY long knocking on heaven’s door/cactus arms twist segment.

Just as Adriene asked “what do you want to get closer to” my three year old sat in front of me. I asked him if he wanted to sit ‘criss-cross apple sauce’ with me and reach his arms up and wiggle his fingers down a few times. <3

Is there a good alternative to knocking on heavens door for those of us who get dizzy?

I’ll never look at knocking on heavens door the same again. That was the last join in by my beloved Smokee Bear during Yoga for PTSD a couple months ago and lost him the next day. I don’t giggle now, but the moment makes my heart happy. Yes, tears are still falling. I did reset earlier at some point on this journey that he will always be in my heart and fill a big chunk of it. Miss him so darn much. Grateful for those 16 years and 3 months. 💞
