I'm very grateful for this practice. When I opened the calendar in the app I realized I had forgotten to do yesterday's practice. I joined this community with the Move challenge in January and have kept a daily practice since. Daily seems to be key for me. If its something I only do a few times a week I can and will often put it off until later. This accumulation of time as an accomplishment is intricately linked to my sobriety. The rare times I crave a drink now it is the thought that I could no longer say I have been sober for 6 years that interrupts that craving. So when I realized I had forgotten to practice yesterday and broken my streak (not intentionally chosen not to for the other physical/energetic me time that I did partake in) I felt my anxiety and negative self talk rise quickly. By forgetting, I was lazy, disorganized, unable to care for myself. I had failed. I spoke this aloud to my husband and talked myself down a bit by acknowledging I had cared for myself in other ways. Still feeling anxious in my body I spent a little time releasing it with some "knocking on heaven's door". I felt the rest leave in a flood of relief when i saw for this video Adriene was dressed cozily surrounded by pillows and blankets. This was exactly what I needed. Thank you to all I practice alongside with.

Just lovely 🥰 Can I make a reccommendation for a true yin class (with 3-5 minute holds)? I love this practice, but I feel like it only just scratches the surface!

Absolutely delicious and cosy practice. Thank you Adriene. The only thing I always struggle with is reclined pigeon. When I thread the needle I can never maintain the position and the cross legs inevitably cross at the ankle. I can’t keep my ankle crossed over my thigh. Anyone else out there have this problem? 🙏🏻💜

Thank you for sharing your truth and honesty Lisa 💕 I so know this space you deacribe and it’s a big healing part of the self-love journey simply to notice and observe these internal shame voices versus being controlled by them and seeing them as the truth. When I’ve missed a day in a lomg streak I try to remember the overall goal of this yoga journey, which YWA so often reminds me of, to find what feels good and snuggle up to myself a little more. Self-love is the point, and I can so quickly forget that some days. You are doing it all so beautifully….truly. And some days I remind myself that Adriene would agree, our daily yoga practice might be just a few deep intentional breaths, or a simple head roll or two, or one forward fold, or a bath, or a cup of tea, or a moment smelling a flower, or a good snuggle. Because any form of self-care counts 💕 and then I “refresh” and start the next day new again, hopefully with a little love and compassion and a little less shame and judgment. Thanks for your share. It will help so many others

Absolutely wonderful! I love this revisit. Those two times I have done this…I didn’t know the breadth and depth of how much sessions like these can truly make a huge difference…times like these…I really felt how relaxed I am in my whole body during and after this session. My heart feels very light. I warmed a little in my forehead. I didn’t cover my eyes. No pulsing or any sensations around my temple. It just felt warm right there…anyhow, I used 3 different pillows. And one throw (blanket) and a cozy pullover! The latter to wrap around my feet! I pulled up the sleeves under. It worked perfectly fine. I didn’t grab a block. I used my denser pillow in bridge pose. I am way more creative ;) with consistent practice! Yay! I can shift my approach to adjust and modify as needed. This was so soothing practiced at night. I am ready to Rest and Restore. Eyelids heavy. To all a good night. Or day…Whenever this session find you. Be well. 💚💚💚💚 12/06/25

I found it quite a challenge to stay in poses so long but it definitely released tension from my body. The bridge with the block trekt so good! I stayed in Savasana for about 20 minutes to do a full body scan and I feel so good now. Thank you Adriene and team.

LOVELY. What an unexpected treat. And I was fascinated/dismayed at how hard it is for me to slow down.
