Today we synchronize our watches, our hearts, our brains, and the movement with our almighty breath. In this session we work to re-pattern the rigid beginnings of our past and find our renewed sense of self.

This slower paced, gentle practice invites you to focus on grounding through the feet, working with the currents of energy through the back and front body, and the marriage between the movement and the breath.

If you are feeling a little tired today, heads up, I got you. In fact, you will stay on the ground in a comfortable seat pose stretching it out for about the first 10 minutes.

Look. It’s all about connection.

Take the time to seek it, play with it, unlock it, use it to bring yourself back to savor the moment, over and over again.

Stay open to the small (or large) ways in which these practices can show up off the mat.

Sign up for my daily emails that correspond with the practice, receive your free HOME calendar, and invite a friend to join: www.ywahome.com

Have a question? I really enjoyed this practice, and to top it off... its my 59th birthday, so it was a nice to inhale and exhale and enjoy the gift of life. Thank you 🙏🏼

My dad passed away in January 2019. It has been a year of learning how to find him each day in what I call the ‘familiar’. That way, I can carry him into new memories and new passions even though he may not be here in the physical. Today’s beautiful vinyasa was one that you had introduced several years ago and I shared with my dad during his illness; a sequence of movements he could still do while sitting in his big comfy chair. With each breath today, I had my dad with me...in the ‘familiar’... something we had shared in the past... breathing love in and exhaling love out. Thank you for that today. I favorited this practice to do whenever I feel the need to connect with my dad viscerally. 🌹❤️❤️❤️🌹

This synchronized breath and arm movement ditty is one of my all time favorites from years ago -- Yoga Camp Day 17. I return to that practice again and again, more than any other single video. It was like an old friend returning home when it showed up today!! ❤❤❤

Really had a lot of trouble with this practice today. I have problems with breathing cues anyway (asthma and psychological stuff too) but these positions seemed to make it really hard to take a full breath. I found myself dropping out of it it completely to take a few breaths. Not sure how to improve this. The really stupid thing is that in lots of the flow practices I get a kind of flow-high when everything scyncs up and movement and breath fall in together - yet when that's the focus of the practice I find it so difficult I almost want to storm off the mat and slam doors cos I'm so let down that I can't do it.

Hey there "party person". I continue to have pain in my arms during Downward Facing Dog. Cannot determine what I'm doing wrong ... I claw my hands and have tried adjusting my body forward and backward, but get no relief. Will this eventually go away?
