I'm really enjoying this subtle chakra ride to round out the month! I seem to have tweaked my shoulder and was feeling a little bummed coming to the mat today, knowing I wouldn't be able to "do everything". Tuning in and taking only what I needed was just right though. Unrealistic as it is, I wish this was a 365 days of yoga journey, because I just don't want this to end after only a few more practices. Such a special time!

I teared up at the loving words to myself at the end. The words chosen were: "I am holding you through the sadness, I won't force you into anything, only invite." I realised how hard I'm pushing myself through my grief, and how difficult it all is. It was a nice relief to give myself space and love.

Another lovely practice starting off with that Audre Lorde quote (you’ve been pulling out all of my faves!) It’s our last morning in Maine doing yoga in our B&B room in front of the fireplace. We went for a Winter hike yesterday in the beautiful snowy woods up to the top of a “mountain” to a beautiful vista view with pretty much no one else around. It was magical, but maybe a bit hard on the legs, so stayed on the mat a little extra for some hip stretching. I’ve been LOVING these past few days spent with the FWFG crüe + community. Thank you, Adriene + sweetest zenny Benji. Namaste all 🙏🙆🏻‍♀️💖😍🫶

'Thank you for bringing your heart and consciousness to this practice' really touched something in me. Because I really do that. And without even doubting to do it; while it's such a vulnerable thing.. This has become such a safe space, I sometimes forget that♥️ So much love and gratitude for you, Adriene

I don't think I've ever tried plow pose before?! Couldn't get my legs back at all, I will look to see if there's a foundation series video for it? But I loved the practice. 🥰 It felt very peaceful and I decided not to do another ywa practice immediately after as I had planned but spend 15 minutes in meditation instead.✌️🙏👏
