With our day 10 practice we continue to develop a vocabulary in which we are able to use the breath to cultivate a more beautiful conversation between the mind and body. Today is all about moving any stagnant energy to allow the opportunity to align with something bigger than yourself and drop into FLOW.

Let me know how this one goes for you in the comments below!

Fantastic series so far!! Am I the only one who has trouble moving one leg from downward dog to the top? I've never been able to do this. I have to guide it with my arm.

I have really been struggling with my mental health and cried throughout this whole practice. But still I managed to breathe and move through the tears and I completed it. "I am strong". Thank you Adriene and team for this 30 day series, loving it so far <3

Cannot get my heels to the floor in downward dog - always on my toes. Is this an issue with my body structure or might it one day happen with more stretching?

Question for anyone...

How do I know when I have a response from someone either on my comment to them or on my reply to someone else. I don't want to miss any conversation if it has continued. This community and the opportunity to contribute and receive is precious :)

Thanks YWA friends!

Carrie

This is my favorite so far! I got out of my head in a way I haven’t before which I’m so grateful for after a tough day. I also stepped into my lunge from downward dog in one movement for the first time and I think it was because I forgot that I couldn’t.

I think this is the best 30 days of yoga series that I have ever done.

Loved this energetic flow! I'm really loving this year's 30 days, love the quiet building. I had a horrible 2023 ending with the death of my ex-husband on 18 December. I ended the year finished in every way. It's as if Adriene heard my pleas. Now I feel like this 30 day journey is building me back up again- mentally, physically and spiritually. Thank you, Adriene. 💜

I am LOVING every single one of 2024’s 30-day challenge practices! Simultaneously deep and subtle. Thank you, YWA Team!

26 years a yogi, today, I celebrate 3 years of daily YWA practice— This has changed my life for the better in so many delicious ways. I am so grateful, so moved, and so dedicated to maintaining this part of my daily routine for the rest of my life. 🙏

I feel wonderful. I am able to bring my foot up from downward dog without using my hand to help place it! Such an accomplishment for me! Love to all. xoxo

Another precious yoga journey with Adriene and Benji. How different it felt to me to slowly (I mean really slowly) and consciously roll up into warrior one, instead of rushing from one pose into another. I suddenly became aware of the different muscles which came to support this movement and the strength it required to make this shift. What a fascinating discovery!
