Am I doing something wrong if Pranayama breath makes me depressed? I do feel calmer, but I also feel intensely depressed for some time after this breath. Am I doing something wrong, is there something I should be doing, or some insight into this?

I love breathwork. I was diagnosed with COPD 16yrs ago. I started breathwork with YWA in 2017. My breathing improved substantially. The Respirologist said my breathing tests were great and she wouldn’t have known that I had COPD, if it wasn’t for the lung X-rays. She also lowered the dose on my daily inhaler. Of course it also helps that I avoid smoke, whenever possible.

Thank you for this energizing breathwork. Is breath of fire safe to do during pregnancy? I'm in my second trimester and felt a little lightheaded.

What a grounding, positive and authentic way to begin my day. Thank you for this practice. It is making a meaningful difference exactly where I need it most.

Quick question about the 3rd breathwork piece. Where am I to target my inhale? I can’t seem to help but inhale the 2 short breaths into my chest.

Thank you for your guidance. 🙏💕

💕 wonderful way to wind down for the night. Like my teen daughter said to me yesterday, breathe in all the good from today and breathe out and let go of that which you don’t want to bring with you into tomorrow. She amazes me with the wisdom she carries 🥰
