Liz is back with a 33-minute Pilates core workout! This invigorating class will ignite all the muscles in your core, from shoulders to pelvis. We’ll begin with a warm-up using your breath to connect with your pelvic floor and rib cage. You’ll learn how to hold a neutral pelvis, then move into a swift progression of exercises that activate all your abdominal muscles. Some of these movements are deceptively challenging, but Liz offers a few positioning options so you can find what feels good for you.

A hand towel, yoga strap, and a block are used in this session.

I really wanted to like this, I like Pilates and Liz’s vibe is great, but i gave up 13 minutes in. She speaks too fast and says too much, I’m so focused on trying to parse what she’s saying that I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing. I feel like every move is overexplained using technical terms. I am really rooting for Liz! I will give the next one a try.

THIS was an awesome video! Thank you so much! 1) I have neck arthritis. Is it okay to support my neck with my hands all the time? I did breathe out and got the stomach "suction" going, but am afraid to leave my neck unsported. 2) I have no blocks, towels, straps, and did these exercises without. Is that okay? I'm flexible. Thanks again!

I appreciate this new direction and I'm looking forward to more.... but I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say......I'm sorry, but this was just too confusing. I needed clearer directions with some more words like left/ right, 90 degrees to what? my elbows, the floor?. Extend leg to sky? to floor? Brick under straightened leg or bent leg.. I gave up at 19 minutes.

I loved this practice, I thought it was going to be super hard and upbeat. But it was surprisingly calm and effective. Amazing offering Liz/ FWFG team. She is a great addition to the team. May we always spread kindness and think about our fellow humans feelings.

This is a great video. Thank you Liz! I do have one small suggestion. I think it might be easier to follow if it were simplified to include just a few of the exercises with more repetitions of each. I don’t know anything about pilates so maybe I’m way off base I just feel like that would have taken this practice to the next level. Thank you again!

This was my first time trying pilates! Exciting. I really liked Liz' style of teaching as well as caring and humourful energy! Since I've never tried pilates before, there were many cues I feel like I didn't get right, but will try the video several times to try to get more into the poses :) Hope there will be alot more pilates videos with Liz! Also a question: after 2 pregnancies, I feel like my core is REALLY weak, and for several of the exercises in this videos I just couldn't get my abs to turn on (it feels like, at least). So I felt like I was straining my neck instead of working on my abs/core. Any suggestions for a weak core like this - how can I begin to turn it on at all, and should I modify any of the poses?

This was fast paced but I really enjoyed it! Definitely going to need to work on that last exercise 😂

Thank you for this practice Liz! I will definitely revisit this video. The technique of nodding the head (yes!) and curling is absolutely a game changer. The core activates and is engaged in a loving ☺️ way. Thank you so much for sharing these helpful tips! Love the breathing down to the pelvis, then belly and ribs! Thanks Liz! Namaste ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
