Hi. Although I comment a lot on other people’s posts, I don’t normally post much about myself personally, but I decided to put myself out there and say that I’ve been feeling really frustrated these last 10 days, as I’ve been completely out of action due to trapping a nerve(s) in my back…..twice (long story!) Listening to you, Adriene, talk about all of the great practices and opportunities coming up in October (which I can’t do right now) and tending to what matters most, touched something and released all of that pent up frustration and I spent most of the Vlog in tears! 😔Then I thought about what you said about tending to everyday Breath Practice and thought, yes….I can do that. That’s something that I can rekindle whilst I’m waiting to recuperate. So thank you for that inspiration. Thank you also for choosing this poem - it’s one of my all time favourites. I love being among trees. Sending love and positive thoughts to you and Benji for his next op. 💜🙏

Good morning!!!

I have recently joined the FWFG world. I’m not one to leave comments but I think this place is amazing!! I’ve been practicing using YouTube Yoga with Adrienne since April of this year. I loved the water with lemon comment and wanted to share that I have recently started making lavender tea everyday. It helps add a little happiness to my water all day. Aside from that tidbit, I just wanted yo say how happy I am that I found my way to this wonderful place and community. I always feel better after doing yoga and my breathing. I am about to be 51, work at Trader Joe’s and my body isn’t quite the same anymore. My job is physical and can be overwhelming sometimes. The calmness and kindness that yoga with Adrienne brings has helped my days go smoother and with less angst. I also love the videos and reading others thoughts and ideas. Just a big shoutout to everyone here!!

Catching up today, Adriene, after losing my mum suddenly last week. I've been thinking about what I might read at her funeral and have been considering Mary Oliver because mum loved her work. How amazing then to tune into your vlog and to hear you read that beautiful poem - Among the Trees- thank you🌲🌳

Dear community, I have a technical question coming up here.... No deep reflection, just something quite practical related to accountability with myself and practice. Could someone assist me to find where I can track my practice in the app? I don't seem to be able to find it somehow 😅

Adriene-

Beautiful messaging! Thank you. On the Benji note my pup has had two TPLO surgeries so I know what you’re going through! It’s tough. I call mine the world’s most expensive rescue dog. And she is worth every penny!

Thanks for this October message. I fractured my ankle this week while hiking in Moab which will limit my movement and practice for the coming weeks. I’ll be checking out the breath practice you mentioned in the vlog. Even before watching this I brought up your alternate nostril practice and did it this morning. Love and peace to you and sweet Benji.

I love this poem. I'm using in a curriculum project for 2nd grade as an introduction to nature hikes. :)

Dog acl surgery!!! I don't know if you had this with your first surgery- but my dog just got acl surgery and she also received laser therapy treatment post op. I have never seen an animal recover faster from surgery in my life, truly. I thought it was a little hokey- my surgeon said they thought the same thing but the results speak for themselves. If you weren't already on it I bet Benji and you would benefit greatly xxxx

Your home is looking beautiful, Adriene! Those new sparkly little details go a long way.
