Alia's 40-minute yin yoga practice is a wonderfully stretchy way to end a long day of sitting at a desk. Yin yoga is a slow and meditative style emphasizing long, passive holds to relax deep connective tissues. As you hold these poses, you will feel your muscles loosen and lengthen. This practice would be great before bed or after work to help you transition into relaxation and find tranquility in the body and mind.

You will need a bolster or pillow, blocks and blankets for this practice.

Lovely yin practice Alia. Delighted with this, as I had been meaning to request some yin. While I like the idea of some relaxing background music, I really did not enjoy this particular piece. It took away from the deep relaxation of it for me. However, maybe it was more noticeable to me as I had the start of a migraine whilst doing this video.

All the same, I will come back to this many times, I am sure. ❤️

I was afraid of this practice. I am just getting into the meditation/moving meditation practice so when I see 40 minutes I was super intimidated. I only did it because I saw Alia's name. However it was a beautiful practice and time went by so quickly.

40 minutes? I don't think this will be an "everyday yin practice" for me. Lol :).
