I was already planning to do this when it was announced in the vlog. Watching this today and hearing that this series could also be for bitter sweet endings really resonates with me because we just said goodbye to our almost 14-year-old Lab 2 days ago. He has been my yoga buddy for the last 4 years since I started doing yoga at home. Jan 4 would have been Gimli’s 14th birthday. I’m sure I will be extra sad that day, but I also know that practicing yoga will continue to ground me and bring me peace in many ways.

Perfect practice for today. The last part of 2024 was a really hard time - I lost my lovely Mum to suicide in September. I’m looking forward to a fresh start in 2025, breathing deep and giving myself the space to heal and remember, but to move forward too. Thank you Adriene ❤️

I'm getting back into yoga through this series, and just signed up for FWFG! I'm so excited to be doing something good for me. I've practiced yoga since the 1980s, but have been slacking these past few years. I was looking for something that would keep me focused, and stumbled up Adriene on YouTube during Covid. I'd been doing some high intensity cardio and weights, but find with my "getting older" body, I need something less intense to balance myself out. Looking forward to starting... here I go... !!!! Namaste! (Actually, in my house, we say "llamaste," since we provide a forever home for rescue alpacas!!) 🦙

I had forgotten that there was no more 30 days and was disappointed when i saw this. I tried the 7 day and loved the concept, though it wasn’t for me after day 3. I found it too intense and intensity increased rapidly. Maybe that was just me after a long Christmas break.

I may go back and revisit, though sticking with the calendars for a bit.

I was just saying today that I sense some need for change within myself but I can't quite pinpoint what that is exactly... But it's this nagging, aching feeling that I can't turn off. So maybe this series will help me. I wish I had started on Jan 1
