Liz challenges us to increase the load and the pace just enough to feel some heat. Stretch yourself until you find a spot just outside of your comfort zone. Keep practicing and you’ll find that your comfort zone gets wider and wider.

Pilates Variations is an introduction to fundamental exercises to build strength and progress your practice.
Really loved episode three. The only constructive feedback I might offer is that instead of referring back to the previous videos for the cues maybe it would be good just to repeat the cues since for those who’ve already done the videos, we might have forgotten what to do without the cue, but with the cue, it would come back really easily. Also I’m not sure what to do with the information about the pelvic floor. Do I keep that on when I activate my core or only sometimes? Just something to think about and maybe integrate if it makes sense for you. Thank you so much.❤️

Ah ok! I fell flat on my sacrum on the ice rink on Sunday. Been tender but I could do the first couple videos on this Pilates series. But. Sharp pain when rolling up from the back. Guess I really DID do a number on the tailbone. Find what is not good! Eek

Enjoying the first two of these sessions, however, felt a little excluded with the command “rise from your bra line”

Rob

Really feeling this in my core over the last few days and a natural desire to pull up & in!

My breathing is sometimes the opposite but am following what feels natural.

Really enjoyed this practice and not having to think about the moves quite as much.

❤️🙏
