In order to meet conflict with an open mind and heart, we need a well-regulated and organized nervous system. Connecting with the midline and working with movements across the midline helps coordinate the brain's hemispheres, keeping our thinking brain engaged in challenging situations.

You may want blocks or a blanket for this practice.

perfect - and I wind down the video speed to 0.75 - I do that rather often.. especially when I am new to a session...... and some I only look at speed 0.75. I very much like Jenn's videos. Namaste from Switzerland. 😘

I had trauma therapy today, a couple hours before this session. I will be honest, I turned it off about 10 minutes in. It was extremely overwhelming. Way too fast paced with a crazy amount of coordination required. Normally I probably would of liked it, but I was looking forward to something to help ground and settle my nervous system. This was not it. I felt worse. Maybe I was too drained from therapy. We are all different, so perhaps it will help another. I have an extensive abuse background, maybe this was the problem. I don't like to leave comments with this more negative tone, but wanted to warn others who may also have the adverse reaction I did.

Love these sessions with Jenn. Will be repeating both and hope there are more to come?

This had the most difficult to understand instructions I’ve ever heard in a yoga or any other class. I don’t wear my glasses when doing yoga. I listen to the instructions, and I felt lost here. For the whole class, all I thought was I can’t understand this class and don’t want to take anymore. I even briefly thought of stopping which I never do. I also felt like the cues made no sense at times and were not clear as to what should be done next.

I very much enjoy this practice with Jen. I like trying something different than what I am used to doing. For all the people who are commenting that they cannot follow along easily, I found that if you watch it through once to help you understand the moves then it really isn’t that complicated at all. It’s just different than what you are used to doing. I think it’s a wonderful practice.

I really appreciate having a choice of teachers to guide us here on the FWFG platform. The session and the style here don't work for me: the speed is too fast, the movements too complex and the instructions are too unclear for me. While I'm on my back I can't see the screen and it just became a stressful experience for me. I know other, more effective ways to ground myself and deal with challenging situations.

Lovely thank you! I’m new to your classes and really enjoyed it—well needed at this time. But was wondering the reason behind gazing around—felt good but love to know the why.

I have done this practice three days in a row but still I would have to just sit and watch the video through, in order to understand what Jenn means by certain positions

I’m glad so many people love it. I was very curious and excited to do it. However, it was too fast for me and hard to follow. After rewinding several times to see how the movement of legs vs arms should go I couldn’t finish it - it was too frustrating. I would need to watch it first (without doing it) and than maybe with the adjustment of the video speed I would be able to follow.
